I started fishing with Lori and Gordon over a decade ago, kayak fishing on the White for big browns. Over the years, we found ourselves the only boat out at night puttin’ them big browns in the boat consistently… I consider them family, and among the few that know what they are doing when the lights go out on White River. Good Fishermen and even better people!

A family night to remember
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect on a night fishing trip on the White River…especially given I was taking my 11 & 13 year old kids along. All I can say is WOW! From booking to trailering the boat, I haven't fished with a better outfit (and we have fished with a couple dozen of them across North America). Gordon and Lori created an unforgettable experience. My 13 year old daughter is now completely hooked on fishing for BIG BROWNS and my 11 year old son can't wait to get back on some BIG BROWNS with stickbaits! Not only did we put several trophy trout in the boat in one of the coolest ways possible - we all improved our fishing game on one of the coolest rivers in the US…The boat, the communication, safety precautions, food and the tackle were all top notch - Gordon and Lori became instant friends and we will be back fishing with them as soon as possible!

A whole new ball game
If you truly want to catch the biggest trout possible, then you need to fish with Gordon & Lori Walters. I have fished the White for 20 years and for the first 15 of them only caught small rainbows. Once I started fishing with Gordon & Lori about 5 years ago, I have caught more brown trout than rainbows, and the browns have been the largest trout I’ve ever caught. Gordon knows the river like the back of his hand and is excellent at fishing for big browns at night. When the sun goes down, it’s a whole other ball game!

Learning the river
After fishing with Gordon and Lori Walters just a few times, I learned more about fishing, safe handling, and river safety than I had my entire life. When you learn that safety comes first, safe fish handling second, and then learning how to use your gear properly, you find catching those BIG trophy fish comes easier. The Walters’ team are great people who posses integrity and they are willing to teach you as much as you’re willing to learn.

Fish, fog & a sunset
Fishing with Gordon and Lori has been one of my top 5 fishing experiences! We had a wonderful day on the White River with a beautiful sunset just as the fog settled. Gordon and Lori provided good conversation and great fishing spots. We caught several types of trout and I even hooked into a Big Brown! They didn’t even give me grief when I lost a penguin lure! I will definitely be fishing with them again!
